Chung Sub Kim, PhD

Chung Sub Kim was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea. He graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a B.S. and Ph.D. in Pharmacy in 2010 and 2015, respectively, under the guidance of Prof. Kang Ro Lee. During his Ph.D. studies, he isolated and characterized numerous new secondary metabolites with biological activities from Korean medicinal plants using NMR, mass spectrometry, and chemical methods. He joined the Crawford lab in April of 2016 and his research focuses on the characterization of stress-induced bacterial small molecules.
