Joonseok Oh, PhD

Joonseok was born in Jinju, South Korea. He attended Yeungnam University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and Master of Science in February of 2008, under the guidance of Professor MinKyun Na and the late Professor Seung-Ho Lee. In January of 2010, he joined the research lab of Dr. Mark T. Hamann in the School of Pharmacy at The University of Mississippi. He graduated with his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis of Pharmacognosy in October of 2015 and timely joined the lab of Dr. Jason Crawford. His research interest lies in tackling stereochemical issues of bioactive metabolites employing techniques combining computation and NMR.
